"These dental professionals are top notch." 5-Star Reviews From Columbia, SC, Patients
These dental professionals are top notch. Let me start by saying that the office is clean environment. The staff treats you with dignity and respect. The dental professionals are just that...professional in every way. They talk to you as if you're family and make you feel so at ease in every way. Dr. Berger is one of the best dentist that I've ever had in my lifetime. I was referred to the Berger Dental Group by the VA and am I glad! Thanks to all of you and I am definitely referring everyone that I know to Berger.
View on GoogleI have been a patient at this office for over 2 years now and they are awesome! Dr. Pincelli and I get along as if though we are the best of friends. She is a lot of fun and her dad has pulled a few teeth of mine and I never had a problem. He always told me that I was a good patient and made me feel as comfortable as possible. To be honest, the entire staff is pleasant from the front desk to the dentist. I was referred by a co-worker and this is my #1 referral when I am asked.

Severely Cracked Teeth
Severely cracked or broken teeth may benefit from extraction, specifically for cracks that disrupt the natural tooth's roots. Once the tooth is removed, an implant can help take the place of the cracked tooth.
Missing Natural Teeth
Replace the gap left in your smile with a dental implant. The dentist can replace multiple missing teeth gaps with an implant-supported dental bridge or dentures. One missing tooth can benefit from a single implant-supported dental crown.
Loose Dentures
Shifting and loose dentures can irritate your gums and cause further oral health problems. The restoration clicks and stays in place all day with implant-supported dentures, unlike traditional dentures.
Jaw Deterioration
Avoid sunken or sagging features with dental implants. Since implants stop jaw atrophy, they can help support your natural bone structure and even give you a younger-looking appearance.
Tooth Decay
Extreme tooth decay that the dentist cannot treat with a root canal may need to be extracted. A dental implant can replace the missing gap in your smile.

Do I Qualify for Dental Implants?
The benefits of dental implants are clear, but not everyone can qualify for them. To qualify for implants, patients must have:
Strong Jawbone
The jawbone will have to be strong enough to support the implant. Patients that have suffered jaw atrophy may need bone grafting to supplement the tissue in the jaw.
Non-Smoker
Patients who smoke have a higher risk of the implant failing. Smoking weakens your gums and bones, which can prevent the implant from fusing correctly to the jaw.
Free of Periodontal Disease
Periodontal disease can weaken the gums from infection. Before the implant can be placed, the patient must undergo preparatory procedures to treat the disease.
Good Overall Health
For any surgery, the patient should be in good health. Conditions like diabetes should be under control before treatment, especially when sedation methods are used.
The Cost of Dental Implants
Dental implants are considered a cosmetic procedure, not often covered by insurance plans. However, our Columbia, SC, dental office offers CareCredit® financing to help you budget the cost into low or no-interest monthly payments. Your custom cost will depend on how many implants you're getting if any preparatory procedures are required, the type of restoration, sedation costs, and other factors. We can determine a cost estimate at your first consultation in our Columbia, SC, dentistry office.
"I received top notch care from Dr. Berger." More 5-Star Reviews From Columbia, SC, Patients
I was referred to Dr. Berger from the VA. It is definitely a family at this clinic! I received top notch care from Dr. Berger (The Big Guy) and Jesse. Everyone was always super friendly; a real down to earth office. Keep doing what you do Sir!
View on GoogleI have to agree with many of the reviews here...this place is great. They do a great job, but they are all so friendly and will talk to you and actually be interested in talking to you. And yes, the staff are like a family as someone else mentioned. It is pretty cool. It seems like it would be a great place to work. The techs and dentists also remember me, though I only recently became a patient of theirs. I definitely recommend these guys.
